Where it began
LaMont began his career in the mortgage industry in his home state of Virginia during the “Refinance Boom” in 2001.
Award-winning start
He worked for one of the best known and successful mortgage shops in Hampton Roads, VA where he earned several awards including “Originator of the Year”.
More than refinancing
While that company was known for its aggressive programs that helped clients who were looking to refinance, LaMont understood that there was much more to the mortgage business than refinancing. He was determined to be more than just a single-transaction loan officer and began developing a multifaceted program that would better help his clients.
Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist
As a result, LaMont pursued extensive continuing education and has been designated as a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist for the past six years. Through his learning, he has innovated programs that help his clients through every life event that involves a mortgage, whether that be navigating the home buying process for the first time, or refinancing to fund a child’s education or start a new business.
